Keeping calm…

As much as I love shooting football pitchside, there’s always a particular problem when shooting ‘my’ team. Having an emotional involvement to a football team has it’s own challenges without doing a job based around that team, but trying to keep calm when the team score a vital goal in an important game is a real toughie. At yesterdays game I had a sudden urge to leap from my stool, drop the camera and celebrate with Mr Wolfenden after his goal to put FC United 3-2 up (after being 2-0 down)!
Thankfully I managed to keep my self control (and dignity!) and just kept shooting. The game eventually finished 3-3, so will go to a replay this coming Tuesday (13th Jan.). Hopefully I’ll have another chance to test my discipline once again!
